We are at a very exciting time! We have just launched our iOS app with active users from 73 countries across 6 continents and launched our social prescribing pilot whereby mothers and mothers-to-be are prescribed the app across the UK to supplement pregnancy and infant feeding support with 12 NHS Trusts and The HCRG Care Groups. We have been featured in +40 press articles and interviews including the BBC News.
With grant funding from Innovate UK, the NHS and Seed investment, we are set for the accelerated growth in product, commercial, and team development and passionate in achieving greater impacts in public health nationally and internationally!
We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our fast-growing team. You will lead on sales and B2B partnerships for the organisation, build and lead LatchAid’s commercial team, mastermind and execute the commercialisation of LatchAid’s existing / new products and hypergrowth.
There is the possibility of progressing to a Commercial Director role in the future based on performance within the current role.
As our Commercial Manager, you will:
- Lead LatchAid sales and commercial team, including business development and account management
- Build relationships with clinical champions / sponsors of 40 Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) within the NHS to establish B2B sales of LatchAid via tendering and social prescriptions
- Own the health economic evaluations and business case building based on LatchAid’s value proposition and user analytics
- Build commercial partnerships with corporates/benefits companies to integrate the LatchAid app and services as part of their employee benefits offerings
- Build commercial partnerships with insurers to integrate the LatchAid app and services as part of their health insurance packages
- Manage healthcare, corporate, insurance partnerships and related contract management
- Establish channel partnerships to expand our user base and accelerate sales
- Negotiate pricing agreements and commercial contracts with partners based on the market and LatchAid’s business value
- Establish revenue-sharing partnerships with aligned brands, businesses, and organisations
- Work with the Marketing Manager to establish go-to market and growth strategies and drive our international expansion into North American and European markets
- Recruit and manage key roles within the commercial team
- Work closely with CEO supporting on various tasks such as development of the long-term vision, strategies, and scale-up plans, fundraising and investor relationship management.
- Working closely with the tech team and customer success team for product development, support, and roll-out
Who we are looking for:
- A minimum of 5 years’ of progressive experience in sales, building and managing commercial partnerships
- Profound knowledge in the NHS procurement process and a proven track record in selling into the NHS and/or other healthcare settings
- An outcomes-focused leader with proven experience building and managing high functioning teams
- Driven and ambitious to rapidly expand our B2B sales and achieve our vision within a reasonably short time frame
- Excellent negotiation, communication (in person and in writing), and presentation skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts, with experience managing partnerships in public and private sectors
- Commercially minded
- Proven experience in working closely with cross-functional teams including key stakeholders, external and internal tech teams, commercial teams, customer success teams, and end users.
- A creative, out of the box problem solver with a demonstrated ability to bring your vision to life in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working with small/dynamic teams, and fast-paced environment with a little direction and quick decision making.
Desirable:
- Existing contacts in corporates, insurers, benefits companies and/or healthcare provision
- Experience in the HealthTech or Digital Health sector
- Passion for using technology and innovation to improve health and wellbeing for millions around the world
