The Role As a Payments Escalation Specialist in our Customer Operations team, you will play a crucial role in providing an outstanding payments and billing experience. You will handle escalated cases, ensuring timely and clear resolutions, and support our frontline team by reducing escalation volumes over time. This involves direct interaction with childminders, parents, and local authorities, managing complex payment issues, and maintaining strong relationships to ensure smooth information flow.

Job Requirements The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in payments, financial services, or a related regulated field, with a proven track record of managing cases, disputes, or complaints. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to handle complex conversations effectively. You should be comfortable working with financial data, performing reconciliations, and identifying discrepancies. A problem-solving mindset and continuous optimization approach are crucial, along with familiarity with fraud and collections processes.
