About the company

tuktukrental.com is an adventure travel social enterprise founded in Sri Lanka in 2016. Our mission is to improve the lives and incomes of tuktuk owners and their families by connecting them with travelers seeking unforgettable experiences. We add value by providing travelers with the security, quality, safety and practicalities they need to drive a tuktuk in South Asia and share the revenue with tuktuk owners. Prior to COVID-19 we had 150+ vehicles rented out simultaneously, 24 employees and supported over 200 tukuk owner families. With travel restrictions easing in our primary market of Sri Lanka, we’re ramping up again and looking for a highly capable general manager to lead the charge.

We believe the most authentic and best way to travel anywhere in the world is to travel like a local, since it opens the door to the amazing people, places & experiences not found on mainstream tourist routes. We work hard behind the scenes to make renting a tuktuk in Sri Lanka as easy as ordering a meal.

We also run Sri Lanka’s original and best tuktuk adventure race the TukTuk Tournament (www.tuktuktournament.com).

About the role

We are looking for an exceptionally talented and driven General Manager who is looking to build a career with meaning while having the adventure of a lifetime. We value highly entrepreneurial people, management and operations management experience, but are open to candidates of all backgrounds.
