The Role

This is a very exciting time to join us as we are on a rapid growth journey. We’re looking to bring a Junior Food Creative into the team to help us grow our organic engagement, helping us build our community and blog, Planted, through recipes and engaging food content. 

This is a permanent opportunity, with an annual salary of £25,000

The ideal candidate will:

• Have an eye for composition and some experience creating content and/or photographing food.
• Have passion for creating, developing and writing recipes. 
• Have an understanding of food trends and how to make short form content engaging.
• Feel comfortable in front of the camera, and have an interest in presenting recipes. 
• As this role is entry level, you will be taught many of the skills on the job but will show potential in all of these areas.

What you will be doing:

• In this role, you will be helping produce content across our blog, Planted, and our social accounts as well as assisting with allplants brand shoots. 
• In particular, you will be:
• Pitching and developing new recipes for our blog, Planted. 
• Writing up recipes, with our brand voice at the forefront. 
• Testing recipes, ensuring they’re accurate and consistent.  
• Styling and shooting recipes, both your own and those developed by some of our development kitchen chefs. 
• Assisting on bigger brand and marketing shoots, for the allplants brand.
• Creating and editing shorter form content that’s socially native for our Instagram and Tik Tok accounts. 
• Staying up to date on the latest trends and helping identify how allplants can be involved, stay ahead and stand out from the crowd. 
• Carrying out day-to-day administrative responsibilities 

What you'll need*

• Some experience in photography and food styling, and a passion to develop and in both areas.
• Ability to create captivating and engaging shorter form content. 
• An understanding of trends and the food media industry.
• Excellent written skills and a desire to grow as a recipe writer.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Energy and enthusiasm to learn and get involved.
