Role Description 

We are looking for a highly motivated Salesforce Developer to help us deliver brilliant tech solutions for those who need it the most! We help nonprofit and charity sector clients to amplify the impact they have on their communities all around the world!

You will work alongside our Solution Architects and Salesforce Technical Consultants to collaborate on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate the proposals and then deliver the solutions.

You will...

  • Work on projects to develop new user features, update and constantly refining existing feature sets 
  • Build reusable code, components and libraries for future use
  • Have ownership of your allocated tickets in sprints including clarification, development, developer review and deployment within sprint timelines
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure client work is delivered on time
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Technical Consultants to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits)
  • Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
  • Work on Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components
  • Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
  • Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code 
  • Integrate and maintain business applications to Salesforce, such as DocuSign, Conga, Survey Gizmo, Mailchimp etc..

We'd love to hear from you if you can tick off a good number of the following:

  • 3+ years of working in Salesforce development
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, specifically GIT
  • Experience in Salesforce configuration, maintenance and installation of 3rd party apps
  • Experience participating in Agile Development Life Cycle methodologies (JIRA ticket system) 
  • Experience of peer testing, debugging and providing feedback to other members of the dev team
  • Experience in custom development to integrate Salesforce.com with other external systems
  • A strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and Accessibility principles and how to manage them 
  • Proficient understanding of Apex code, Lightning Web Components, Javascript and Visualforce
  • Platform Developer 2 certification level or equivalent experience
  • A number of Salesforce certs

It would be even better if you have:

  • Experience in working with Salesforce Communities, NPSP and HEDA packages and non profit processes 
  • Knowledge of Angular and web markup, including HTML5, CSS
