Junior Research Analyst

Term: 12 months fixed-term contract

Starting Salary: £25,000- £30,000pa based on experience

Location:  London (working 3 days from the office) or remote

The Role

We are looking for an excellent analytical researcher with a passion for improving mental health globally, with a particular interest in private sector action.  

As a junior research analyst at Prospira Global you will apply and develop your analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, business management and leadership skills from day one. Working under the support of a senior colleague, you will conduct research and gather required data that is used to help companies understand the risks and opportunities they face regarding mental health, and play a key role in conducting research on global mental health for our clients and team. 

As a key member of our small team you will also have the opportunity to contribute to wider organisational activities as required, providing you with the opportunity to be a part of the business from an early stage as it grows.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of mental health impact across the private sector, equipping you with valuable skills for a growing area of need around the world. 

About You

We’d love to hear from you if:

  • You have an analytical skill set at degree level or equivalent 
  • You are skilled at data analysis and research (both qualitative and quantitative) and have strong working knowledge of relevant statistical analysis software 
  • You love to investigate and research a situation to piece together a clear, data driven story
  • You have strong communication skills, especially for distilling data into easily digestible formats
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and love being part of a small and growing team
  • You can demonstrate a proven track record of being highly organised 
  • You’re entrepreneurial in that you’re always looking to do things better and faster; you spot opportunities and aren’t afraid to dive in
  • You have a passion for social change, and want to be at the forefront of private sector action for improving global mental health
  • You have the right to work in the UK

Our ideal candidate would also have: 

  • You have 1-3 years of experience in a research or consulting environment 
  • Technical expertise: have some familiarity with the role of private sector action on mental health or has previously worked in a research/analytics function 
  • Project management: excellent project management skills set delivering to time and budget, as well as sharing progress and stewarding colleagues
  • Presentation skills: strong attention to detail and ability to use write and design presentations fit for an Executive audience in global companies
  • Excellent written and verbal skills:  a concise, yet empathetic and emotionally intelligent communicator
  • Leadership & initiative: thrive when given autonomy and have intuition for leading a project team and stepping up to a challenge
