Hardworking and reliable person sought as a full-time Forestry and Landscape Apprentice on a family-owned country estate near West Malling, Kent.

Whilst there are no forestry apprenticeship schemes available at local colleges, the estate has an in-house Forestry training provider who will provide formal training. The salary range quoted is reflective of the training that will be given in the role and is also dependent on age.

The previous apprentice is now in full-time employment at the Estate.

The successful applicant will have an interest in the countryside and enjoy working outdoors. They will be self-motivated, trustworthy and capable of working un-supervised.

Own transport is necessary given the rural location.

Jobs will include assisting with forestry, timber processing, conservation works and estate maintenance; all subject to appropriate training.
