We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as our Private Client Advisor Manager with Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).

This role will lead on the continued development and execution of CAFs philanthropy advisory and impact offering for our private clients.

You will be part of a growing team, central to CAF group’s strategy and growth, and working with a fascinating mix of (U)HNWI clients helping them become effective philanthropists. Our International Head office is based in Kings Hill, Kentand we have an office in the heart of the city of London, near St Paul’s Cathedral. You will be free to work a few days per week from either office, depending which is closest to you, and the remainder of your time from home. Initial training will likely be office based.

You will join us on a full time, permanent basis working Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week. Working hours are 9am to 5pm.

We are looking for a dynamic, flexible, creative and self-starting individual with a passion for evidence-based philanthropy and a solid background in charity evaluation or social sciences research. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

As our Private Client Advisory Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  •   Leading on the delivery of philanthropic advice to CAFs private clients
  •   Supporting and training the private client team to grow their knowledge of effective and evidence-based philanthropy
  •  Delivering an exciting and interesting programme of impact-focus webinars and events to private clients and drafting thought leadership and articles on effective giving

Skills required of our Private Client Advisory Manager:

  • Strong analytical and social science research skills
  • Able to synthesise complex information in a straightforward and easily digestible manner
  • Good attention to detail
  • A self-starter who is able to manager their own workload, deadlines and priorities with minimal intervention and oversight
  • Experience advising and supporting HNWI and their families with their giving
