Requirements
The opportunity
We’re looking for an exceptional web marketing manager to develop and implement our website marketing and SEO strategy to promote our brand, attract visitors and potential leads, and generate revenue.
You’ll be responsible for managing and optimizing our website, testing incremental changes to improve conversion rate, ensuring infrastructure supports SEO, and tracking and reporting on site performance. You’ll evolve our website proposition across our different value propositions, and improve the online experience for visitors, establishing a customer journey to educate, inform and inspire, and ultimately drive them to buy.
As our web marketing manager, you’ll coordinate projects throughout the lifecycle, from strategy and planning through technical and creative dependencies, production, QA, launch, and post-launch analysis. You must have a solid background in technical site optimization and SEO, editing for the web, web metrics reporting, and A/B and multivariate testing.
Specifically, you will…
- Lead our website marketing and SEO strategy to grow our website’s reach and impact in line with commercial growth objectives
- Audit technical infrastructure, site architecture and site features, and execute site improvements to enhance the effectiveness of our SEO and onsite experience
- Collaborate with agencies and internal marketing teams as well as our engineering teams to create wireframes and page components, and deliver effective and compelling online experiences
- Understand data flow requirements and work with other teams to connect the necessary data collection and flow from marketing campaign activities
- Ensure active campaigns are represented on the website, ensuring the content created meets marketing needs, and advising on developing and expanding web presence through multi-channel marketing programs
- Measure and analyze web performance and visitor behavior, reporting on website metrics and suggesting improvements to boost website traffic and performance
- Measure and analyze content efforts (via Google Analytics, Google's keyword tool, SEMrush, Google Console, etc.) to find what's working and what isn't
- Manage Google Tag Manager and other digital marketing technology and work with Marketing Ops and Lifecycle Marketing to ensure tools are optimized and functional and sync’d with our and CRM platform (HubSpot)
About you
- 3+ years in technical SEO, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or similar
- Experience managing and optimizing website content for search engine optimization (SEO) and onsite user experience (HubSpot)
- Solid understanding of technical SEO including sitemaps, meta tags, JavaScript indexing, linking, redirects, keyword research, etc
- Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization and a/b/mutivariate testing and conversion rate optimization to improve lead generation, sales pipeline, and revenue
- Excellent knowledge with the following: Google AdWords, Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio, and Search Console, as well as Website optimization and personalization tools (e.g. Hotjar, Google Optimize, Webeo) and SEO tools (SEMRush or similar)
- Website CMS experience and HTML coding for emails and landing pages
- Ability and desire to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced, fast-growth environment
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects, priorities, and tasks
