The Opportunity

As a Marketing Manager with Intrepid you’ll be responsible for planning and executing our core marketing campaign strategies. Working on our direct-to-consumer and trade business, you will project lead and work collaboratively with the global brand team.

You will take on the responsibility for driving the day-to-day performance of all paid media, with a focus on maximizing online inquiry with a goal to improve quality traffic growth, and revenue.

We have two positions currently available with Intrepid – A permanent full-time position & a maternity leave contract both of which are based out of our London office in Brixton.

We believe vaccines play a critical role in the safe return of travel. To ensure our workplaces are safe, we require proof of Covid-19 vaccination when you work from an Intrepid office, attend company events or travel on trips. For those who can’t provide proof of vaccination or a medical exemption, we may offer the option for remote work.

No two days are the same but some of the tasks you’ll take the lead on are:

·        Digital marketing for the region, working closely with our global digital agency and regional digital leads.

·        Above-the-line advertising for the region, identifying opportunities and briefing the relevant partners to create brilliant through-the-line advertising campaigns.

·        Accountable for the development, creation, implementation and execution of all marketing in line with the Marketing plan/calendar for the UK & German market

·        Management of brand marketing activity including timings, budgets, and KPIs

·        Develop and maintain strong relationships with the marketing teams of travel agent and trade partners, brand partners and tourism boards

·        Be the voice of the regional customer, relaying market trends and insights back to global teams.

·        Working closely with the other regional marketing teams and the global creative, email and social teams to ensure that the region is being represented within the business.

·        People management, maintain & foster effective working relationships with experienced managers and instil an attitude of confidence in all team members, to drive best results

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you is:

·        5+ years marketing experience in a similar role

·        Knowledge of the UK and EMEA travel market

·        Strong experience working with and developing partnerships with agent, tourist board and brand partners

·        Experience in managing a variety of brands and strategic relationships

·        Experience in managing both above the line & below the line advertising and marketing, digital and offline.

·        Campaign management skills

·        People management experience
