The Role

As one of our dedicated Property Consultants you will contribute to the continued success of our portfolio by putting your proven experience into play to identify, visit and evaluate unique properties to join our collection of luxury private home rentals. You will have a good team ethic and a strong natural alignment with our brand, knowing exactly what it is guests are looking for in a Unique Homestays break. Articulate and charismatic, with a diplomatic nature, strong interpersonal skills will be crucial to the success of this role.

Main Responsibilities

• Assess new member enquiries for suitability via telephone and email correspondence
• Liaise with owners who are in the process of joining Unique Homestays, keeping up to date with their property projects and timelines to ensure a swift and successful onboarding
• Visit properties and meet with potential owners with a brand ambassador hat on, communicating the benefits of exclusive membership with Unique Homestays
• Work with the wider team to create an onboarding strategy that aims to exceed company goals
• To promote and communicate the Unique Homestays brand, property standards, policies, and processes when liaising with property owners and management teams
• Produce written reports following property visits
• Manage and communicate your diary, being resourceful and timely with your travel schedule
• Develop and increase the quality of the property portfolio by identifying suitable properties for inclusion
• Generate new ideas and opportunities for business growth
• Receive and handle queries from property owners relating to our properties for sale and property finding services
• Create authentic, lasting relationships with potential owners, existing owners and other stakeholders
• Populate internal databases as required and in-line with targets
• Work collaboratively with team members and other stakeholders such as designers, photographers and others who will contribute to the success of this integral department

The Person

The ideal candidate will thrive in this role if they are confident and personable with a positive can-do attitude. An eye for design and a genuine desire to seek out extraordinary properties is paramount. Property consultants must be enthusiastic about travelling the UK and visiting owners of exceptional private homes.

Experience and Skills

Minimum skills and qualifications

• Experience in negotiating and selling to achieve sales targets
• A comprehensive understanding of what makes a luxury holiday experience
• Experience with luxury property owners
• Confident and charismatic with strong written and verbal communication
• Proven appreciation for unique architecture and interior design
• Experience as a team member in a similar role and/or a collaborative sales team
• Holder of a UK driving licence, and own vehicle for local visits

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Experience collaborating closely with owners of distinctive properties
• Previous work in property or hospitality
• Experience of travel and a sales culture within a previous role

The Specifics

• This is a permanent full-time role
• You will have 22 days paid holiday plus bank holidays, and your birthday off*
• Access to private medical cover*
• Starting salary is £30,000 with potential to increase after successful completion of the probation period
