Profusion is a leading provider of data and marketing technology services, ranging from consultancy advice through to the creation and execution of innovative projects and campaigns. We specialize in helping retailers, FMCGs, SMEs and financial services businesses to grow using the power of data and technology.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of client projects, working with clients to gather requirements, using your knowledge of Adobe Campaign (Classic and Standard), and assisting technologies to design and document the appropriate technical solution. Then delivering the project through to build, QA and deployment.
This is a crucial role within Profusion to help drive our Adobe Campaign practice and deliver expert services to our clients. The role supports flexible working to allow for a split of time working from the office and remotely. Some time working with client’s onsite may be required from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with our clients to help them turn business requirements into tangible solutions, working directly with their inhouse teams as well as your Profusion colleagues to deliver projects. As an Adobe Campaign expert, you will champion its key features and help enable, upskill and empower clients and colleagues through delivery of training, desk side support and sharing of product knowledge and use cases. You will occasionally be required to support presales activities in the form of contributing to presentation documents and/or client demonstrations to showcase Profusion’s Adobe Campaign services. There will be opportunities to work alongside our other application consultants to learn and develop other campaign management applications, such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Responsys.
Some of your main tasks will be:
· Act as the lead technical consultant across end-to-end Adobe Campaign projects
· Gather Business requirements and translate into a technical solution design
· Produce technical documentation of the proposed solution
· Produce time estimates during the scoping phase
· Setting up the solution in Adobe Campaign as needed, including but not limited to:
o Designing and extending the data model
o Ingesting new data feeds via batch and API
o Orchestrate customer journeys across channels using appropriate workflow activities, segmentation and personalization features
o Developing WebApplications and Reports
o Supporting the integration of 3rd party technologies to streamline campaign production, increase personalization or extend channel capabilities.
· When their expertise is required, working with inhouse developers and data engineers, briefing requirements and overseeing progress.
· Acting as technical contact and working with clients and 3rd party counterparts when the solution requires their involvement
· Supporting our campaign managers with BAU campaign production and automated trigger messages
· Using a consultative approach to help build client trust and strong long-term relationships
· Creation and delivery of training to both client and inhouse teams
· Act as one of Profusion’s Adobe Campaign subject matter experts; disseminating knowledge across in house teams, keeping abreast of product roadmap, supporting our partnership, product adoption and services.
· Occasional presales support
· First line client support for any program troubleshooting that arises
· Any other ad hoc responsibilities the role may reasonably require.
Personal Specification: Knowledge, Experience and Skills
You should have experience delivering complex technical projects end to end using Adobe Campaign in a fast-paced digital agency/tech environment in a similar role. You should have a well-rounded technical understanding that allows you to turn business requirements into technical solutions and strong communication, client and project management skills to back this up.
Knowledge & Experience
· Demonstrable experience delivering marketing technology projects end to end in a hands-on capacity
· Experience delivering Adobe Campaign BAU or implementation projects.
· A current Adobe Campaign certification (ideally developer)
· Experience working directly with clients; owning and delivering projects end to end
· Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, SQL, XML, APIs, database design
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Strong Technical aptitude: the ability to understand new technologies and related environments
· Ability to build strong relationships with clients
· Knowledge of an additional Adobe product beneficial (Analytics, Target, Audience Manager, AEM, AEP)
· Experience of alternative enterprise campaign management/customer experience platforms beneficial (e.g. Responsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze)
