The Role
Goodrays is launching an exciting and ambitious growth campaign to drive brand awareness, increase listings and drive rate of sale across a series of venues, events and shops.
Goodrays is looking for an organised, motivated and industrious product manager to join our all-star team and manage the production process and product development of our full range of CBD products.
The role will require some experience in product development, production and demand planning within the food and beverage industry but more importantly the ideal candidate will be motivated, positive and willing to learn. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager and the CEO.
This is a great opportunity to join one of the first mainstream CBD companies in the UK and help us to disrupt the alcohol, sugar and caffeine industries to revolutionise health and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the production of CBD beverages with a third-party manufacturer including sourcing ingredients, organising delivery of materials and tracking inventory.
- Ensure quality control across all products including the testing of CBD stability, ingredient quality and finished goods.
- Forecasting production schedules based on demand generated by the sales and marketing team.
- Leading the rollout of new products or product amendments and the introduction of new types of packaging.
- Sourcing new suppliers, testing materials and negotiating with existing suppliers on commercial pricing to ensure optimal cost of goods to Goodrays.
- Sourcing third-party manufacturers, attending productions on site and negotiating production costs.
- Ensuring the translation of packaging into foreign languages.
- Responsible for product and packaging compliance, weeks of stock cover and the weekly sales, stock and intake data.
- Responsible for the central product information database, ensuring all central information is up to date.
Key attributes:
- Experience or interest in the FMCG or CBD industry
- Knowledge of basic food production and preparation businesses
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Highly organised and time efficient
- Proficient with Google Sheets and/or Excel
- Enthusiastic, positive and willing to get stuck in
Proposed Package
- Base salary £30,000 - £35,000
