Greenpeace is an international non-profit global campaigning organisation. Our independence and global reach enable us to stand for positive change through action in order to defend nature and promote peace. We investigate and expose global environmental problems, confront those in positions of power and present alternative solutions. 

This is a new dynamic role, which will be crucial to the growth of our Greenpeace Speaker programme. We’re looking for a creative team player who is keen to develop their proven marketing and digital skills; to deliver innovative marketing campaigns promoting our Greenpeace Speaker talks. Reaching out to new audiences, that will in turn inspire thousands of young people across the country to take action on the climate crisis. 

As Outreach Marketing Officer, you will develop and execute marketing campaigns to grow the reach of our Greenpeace Speaker progamme to inspire thousands of young people, community groups and organisations to explore the environmental challenges we face and take action. You will use your creativity to develop and test new marketing and outreach approaches to reach new diverse and youth audiences. Researching and developing new opportunities and partnerships to promote and grow the Greenpeace Speaker programme is also a key element of this role

The role is based in our London office. As we progress to a hybrid working model, you may have flexibility to work from home, but you will need to commute into our Islington head office on a regular basis.

Requirements

You'll have:

  • Proven track record of designing and delivering successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of marketing and promotion via digital channels paid and organic
  • Experience of researching and developing new opportunities, including partnerships and marketing strategies
  • Experience of marketing to the educational sector, Higher Education Colleges and university sectors and youth groups
  • Experience of working with website, data and IT teams
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
