We launched in 2014 to disrupt outdated clichés associated with group tours. We quickly transformed into a high-growth, mid-stage start-up connecting Flashpackers in over 15 global markets. Customers who travelled with us LOVED it – and we grew really fast as a result. Then Covid hit the travel industry. The last 18 months have been a journey but we’re back with the support of fantastic venture capitalists, and have massive plans for global expansion in 2022 and beyond.

International demand for solo travel is starting to boom once again and the US is our biggest market and biggest opportunity. To fulfil our mission, we’re expanding our team in the US with some of the best talent around. Will you join the mission?

The Role: 

Flash Pack is looking for a dynamic Head of Sales to evolve our business and drive forward growth on a global scale. In this exciting and vital role, you will be working collaboratively alongside our adventure operations, customer experience and marketing departments to enable the company to rapidly expand.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Effectively scale the sales team across a global market and maximise its impact 
  • Design a 24/7 sales coverage model and scope out plans for international expansion 
  • Work closely with Flash Pack’s product and marketing teams to generate leads and co-develop campaigns that engage and grow our loyal solo travel community

  • Map, define, and improve the sales process using automation techniques
  • Find innovative ways to inspire the sales team, enhancing performance and driving company growth

About you

We’re after the right person. If you don’t quite hit all the criteria, you should still apply based on hitting the majority. 

Experienced

  • You have built B2C sales teams, in a growth business, successfully recruiting and onboarding new hires. 
  • You know how to run a sales process that deliverers predictable and consistent results 

Team builder: 

  • You are able to identify top talent and convince great candidates to join your team 
  • You are a coach and mentor to your team, identify development areas and helping junior members to consistently improve their performance.

Exemplary Leader 

  • You lead from the front and can jump into a Sales Process and be hands on directly supporting your team to close opportunities
  • You can demonstrate that you are not only a great manager but the best relationship builder in the organisation.

What else?

Hours: This role is Monday to Friday but you should be happy working evenings and weekends whenever required.

Salary: The base salary range for this role is between $75,000 - 85,000 depending on experience. Total potential earnings could be between $100,000-130,000. We also offer stock options after your first year with the company.

Location: The role is totally remote. Although we are headquartered in the UK we are building a physical presence in the US. You can do this role from anywhere in the US.
