What's the job?

We are now looking for a Buyer’s Admin Assistant (BAA) to join our Product team. You will be responsible for supporting the Buying team with general administrative tasks to ensure the smooth delivery of our collection critical paths.

This is an exciting opportunity to help contribute to the Buying function in a growing business.

What will you do?

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Work closely with the Junior Buyers to manage the critical path and ensure deadlines are met for new ranges
  • Responsible for order raising and confirmation with printers & suppliers. Managing & chasing orders.
  • Manage sample requests & tracking for sign-offs, press and marketing requests
  • Be involved in product development processes, supporting the Junior Buyers with supplier feedback and negotiations
  • Support the Buying team with the accurate completion of range line sheets including product information and pricing
  • Work closely with our Merchandising and Operations teams to ensure that stock is being delivered at the right time and adhering to our delivery requirements
  • Support the Buying and Design teams with filing and submission of relevant artwork files
  • Prepare packs for presentations & meetings
  • Support with competitor shopping activity and analysis
  • Get experience working for a dynamic & creative e-commerce retailer

Requirements

You will succeed in this role if you have:

  • As a guide, around 1-2 years of experience in a buying role
  • Experience within admin, excellent organisation skills with an eye for detail
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Confident on Google Sheet and Docs / Microsoft Office
  • A team player, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck into tasks
  • A keen interest in stationery!
