Who we’re looking for 

We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer with roughly 2+ years of experience who is comfortable talking about high-level product concepts as well as deep technical details. We want someone who is excited about modern tech, code quality and scalable engineering.

An ideal candidate will have experience working with and developing large B2C applications working at scale. They will have a strong focus on best practices and a view on how to achieve these in a fast growth team. They will be incredibly capable at developing in a microservice architecture, with superb API standards and developing locally in containers.

What you'll do 

We will expect you to play a big role in helping your team be as effective as possible. We want you to be one of the leading voices for the technology decisions within the team, as well as developing our tech ecosystem across Seedrs. We value the importance of coaching and developing our junior members, so we will expect you to act as a guide and role model.

Our engineering teams own the entire product development lifecycle from idea inception and development, through to analysing success. So, expect to spend most of your time writing code. Additionally, around 25% of your time will be: architecture planning, talking to stakeholders and analysing your data metrics for success.

You will be joining the Revenue team. This team’s focus is on creating and optimising products that can realise new revenue by strengthening our existing features such as the Secondary Market, the primary investment proposition as well as working on new features and revenue streams.

Our Technologies 

We are looking for an engineer with strong experience in React. An ideal candidate will also have experience working with Storybook, Redux Sagas and NextJS. On the backend we primarily use Ruby on Rails and NodeJS.

Candidates should be able to show and discuss some projects they have worked on. We want to see a deep understanding of the customer as well as technical prowess. If you have experience with AWS and Serverless as well as an interest in fintech - that's a bonus!

Interview Process

  2. 1 hour technical interview with our Engineering team
  3. Final interviews with CTO and HR
