Sales Executive (London)

The Dragon Trip is a leading adventure tour operator in Asia looking for a new Sales Executive based out of London.

We have trips all across Asia and these all aim to expand minds through transformative travel experiences. Over the last decade, we have developed top of the class itineraries that bring the local culture to life. All our tours blend unmissable attractions, off the beaten track location and genuine cultural experiences. We managed to get through the COVID pandemic and are excited for the return of international travel. This role is for a Sales Executive within our London office. This role would also involve our brand: The Coyote Trip- which focuses on North America but has the same ethos as The Dragon Trip.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing our relationships with key agents in the travel industry through ongoing communication and agent training.
  • Delivering product training to our trade partners
  • Handling reservations and bookings from direct clients and agents through our email, phone and online booking system.
  • Responding to pre-sale enquiries from our trade partners
  • Identifying ways we can improve our pre-sale processes
  • Working alongside our marketing team to ensure that key dates are sold.
  • Ensuring our ancillary income opportunities are maximised.
  • Responsible for business development and promoting products to new agents.
  • Attending events on behalf of the company.
  • Working alongside our Asia based operations team to ensure trip quality and customer care remains high

Requirements:

  • Experience within the travel industry (preferred but not essential)
  • Have travelled in Asia and/or America and passionate about travel.
  • Some experience in sales (preferred but not essential)
  • Be respectful, mature, friendly, helpful, confident, open-minded and fun!
  • Ability to think on your feet, take responsibility for your own decisions, and calmly deal with all issues.
  • Desire to improve your communication skills.
  • Enjoys meeting new people and promoting travel
