Main Responsibilities:
Team Management
- Lead Unique Homestays' accomplished bookings team with thought leadership to offer customers exceptional customer service
- Set, communicate and drive individual and team goals in-line with the business goals
- Incorporate sales practices to deliver on occupancy targets
- Be at ease monitoring and analysing data, presenting to the senior leadership team on a weekly basis
- Be effective in spotting trends in order to maximise revenue opportunities
- Provide homestay specialists with feedback both daily and in formalised reviews; training, coaching and recording progress as appropriate to staff performance, satisfaction and retention
- Be the escalation point for the resolution of any guest, owner, or team issues that cannot be met by your team
- Adhere to Unique Homestays policies, processes, procedures and standards, ensuring your team do the same
- Drive your team to deliver in alignment with Unique Homestays' values of passion, innovation, trust, creativity, and honesty
- Take responsibility for succession planning of the homestay specialist team to evolve a customer services department that remains best in class
The Guest Experience
- You will take ownership for an engaged and well-informed team of homestay specialists who deliver on guest enquiries with pace, warmth, impeccable written and verbal articulation, and high attention to detail. As an organised sales manager, you will ensure that all guest enquires plus associated pre- and post- booking tasks are completed to standard within required timeframes.
The Owner Experience
- Liaise with the dazzling society who are the Unique Homestays property owners, providing informed guidance and first-class customer service.

Job Skills and Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Two years' experience as a team leader of a high-performing sales or customer service team
- Four years’ experience within a collaborative sales or customer services department
- Confident and charismatic with strong verbal communication skills
- A holistic thinker with a remarkable eye for detail and accuracy
- Excellent written skills which will assist you in articulating emails and proofreading important communications
- Experience in optimising the performance and productivity of sales team members
- Holder of a UK driving license
Preferred requirements:
- Experience collaborating closely with owners of distinctive properties
- Luxury or hospitality experience
- Experience, energy and enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service that steps away from the usual
The Specifics
- This role is a full time, permanent role based in our Cornwall office
- Working Monday-Friday 9am to 5:30pm
- You will have 22 days paid holiday plus bank holidays, and your birthday off*
