Content Reviewer (Lesson Quality)

We’re looking for a content reviewer who is available for up to 20 days between 7th November and 2nd December 2022, to help us trial our new production processes. This will involve reviewing science lesson resources, and accompanying videos, with a focus on accuracy, accessibility and design consistency. 

Responsibilities:

• To review and provide timely & constructive feedback to teachers on the secondary science lessons they have produced in line with Oak's quality guidance, with a focus on accuracy, accessibility and design consistency;

• To update the formatting and correct minor errors in lesson resources;

• Provide feedback on production processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

• A minimum A*-C or 9-5 grade in GCSE science;

• Excellent attention to detail, able to efficiently review and spot errors in content;

• Knowledge of best practice in terms of accessibility and educational content design;

• Have a high standard of maths and English, including punctuation and grammar, in written and verbal communication;

• Competent working with and adapting to a variety of technologies.

The successful candidate will have a desire to contribute in all areas to ensure Oak is successful. You will be comfortable working at pace and you will continuously look at ways that the team can work more smartly. You will be excellent at working as part of a remote team, building relationships and managing your time effectively.

Successful candidates will be required to provide their own equipment, including:

• Laptop with at least 8GB RAM processing speed;

• Reliable internet speed and connection with minimum download rate of 20 Mbps and minimum upload rate of 5 Mbps.
