Job Description

Are you an expert Finance Director looking for a new challenge? The LEGO Group are seeking a Head of Strategic Finance to drive excellence in strategic planning and delivery.

You will be the lead on our strategic finance agenda. Here, you will play an integral part in our long-term financial planning, driving strategic projects and building required capabilities. Doing so, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization, with the CFO and other key corporate and business stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in the development and operationalizing of long term plans and strategy
  • Be responsible for the financial planning and tracking of the strategy
  • Ensure that long-term financial ambitions are translated into yearly plans and targets
  • Lead and support in high-impact projects (efficiency program, ESG, external investment, new capabilities, large scale projects, etc.)
  • Drive quality for our business case process and drive improvements in our approach to long-term prioritisation
  • Deliver above both via hands-on delivery and through leadership of the Strategic Finance team

The Person

  • You have demonstrated ability in relevant finance roles including experience with strategic finance, long term planning, business cases or strategy development, preferably from a multinational company
  • Retail or FMCG industry experience is preferred
  • You have validated end to end and commercially savvy.
  • You are an outstanding networker and have strong influencing skills towards multifunctional senior stakeholders
  • You a tried fast learner.
  • You have excellent English communication skills in both speech and writing.
  • Passionate about team leadership and development
