Square Mile Farms is on a mission to reconnect people with food. We put vertical growing systems into urban areas, such as corporate offices, co-working spaces and apartment buildings, so people can grow and consume their own zero miles, ultra-fresh produce where they live and work while enjoying plants on display.
Our business has been growing rapidly and we are looking for an entrepreneurial, passionate team member to help accelerate our growth. This role will be responsible for working with existing clients as well as new opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Responding to and qualifying inbound inquiries
- Owning new opportunities from initial inquiry to sale
- Carrying out site visits at world-class offices and city buildings
- Communicating with existing clients (we have some fantastic brands) to expand the scope and scale of the farm solutions they already have
- Identifying opportunities for value add services to deepen the relationship
- Working with the marketing team to support events, trade shows and proactive demand generation campaigns to manage lead flows
- Working with the product and farm operations teams to plan and implement the farms
Qualifications
- At least one year's sales, account management or customer service experience
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, self-starter with a great attitude - it's all about attitude!
- Passionate about sustainability, greening cities, food, vertical farming
- Experience working in the following sectors preferred but not necessary: property, sustainability, HR, Workplace management
