We are looking for a project manager who is very organized and great with people. The ideal candidate has volunteer experience and understands what makes a volunteer experience great.
Below is the role responsibilities;
1. Experience Management:
a. Lead and coach the team to deliver the impact projects.
b. Ensure activities provide unique and immersive experiences.
c. Make the decisions on how to implement improvements based on volunteer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
d. Identify fun opportunities for Volunteers outside of projects which generate income.
e. Run all aspects of the volunteer projects to demonstrate what good looks like.
f. Encourage and guide volunteers and interns to be the best they can be.
g. Take responsibility for managing emergency situations and major volunteer issues using the Code of Conduct and instil this way of thinking within the team.
2. Project Management:
a. Maintain a schedule rich in fun and engaging activities
b. Alongside the Photography and Research coordinators, maintain strong partner relationships for long term sustainable projects.
c. Create a meaningful set of Aims within a Volunteer Impact Map, set up simple processes to capture Achievements and coach the team on how to manage this.
d. Coach teams on sustainable projects, how to identify strong project measures and what makes for a good volunteer project.
e. Clearly demonstrate adherence to the Code of Conduct, Standard Operating Procedures and Experience documents on how to support the Volunteer Experience.
f. Gain an understanding of the marketplace and competitors to develop and grow the work we do remaining at the forefront of the industry
g. Be creative and innovative to continuously improve the activities and projects (aim to win awards !!)
3. Enterprise Management:
a. Advise the Base Manager on any budget requirements according to the arrival schedule and necessary expenditure.
b. Maintain any company assets to a good quality.
c. Provide reports and imagery to the Office to support the growth in numbers of volunteers.
d. Oversee any expenditure you are responsible for ensuring good records are maintained.
e. Identify areas for growth and improvement discussing these with your Base manager
f. Effective capacity management, develop building projects which are scalable to meet the changing needs
