- Willingness to learn and close deals, proactive mindset
- Experience with CRM systems and sales outreach tools
- Ability to work remotely, though a hybrid setup is preferable

As our Associate Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying, nurturing and developing new business opportunities in the R&D tax credits space. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Development Representative looking to make the move into a client-facing, closing role. You’ll work closely with our Senior Business Development Managers, building a pipeline, nurturing leads, and learning how to close deals.
Daily and Weekly Responsibilities
Work closely with the Senior Business Development Managers, developing leads and creating strong sales opportunities
Engage with potential clients via cold calling, direct messaging, and email outreach
Qualify inbound and outbound leads, identifying businesses that could benefit from R&D tax relief
Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients, tracking progress in our CRM, Pipedrive
Nurture long-term relationships with prospects to develop future sales opportunities
Support in closing deals, learning from experienced Senior Business Development Managers
Report on activity and sales progress to the wider team
Required Skills and Qualifications
2-3 years’ experience as a Sales Development Representative or 1-2 years in a Business Development role within the R&D Tax Credits industry (R&D Tax Credits experience is essential)
Comfortable in a target-driven, incentivised sales environment
A natural communicator with strong phone, email, and messaging skills
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn how to close deals
Experience with CRM systems and sales outreach tools
Ability to work remotely, though a hybrid setup is preferable
Salary
For this role, the salary will be £33,000.00 - £40,000.00 depending on experience, plus a generous commission model and OTE. In addition to your salary, we offer a flexible, autonomous working environment where you can grow and develop in your career. After probation, you can work from wherever suits you best, though we have a fully serviced office in the heart of Shoreditch.
