Born in March 2015, we are now one of the UK’s leading healthy food brands, operating across grocery, convenience & independents.
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and working closely with the Marketing Team, you’ll be responsible for hitting weekly sales targets by growing our brand awareness, increasing account listings, and getting more products directly into the hands of consumers.
You’ll be joining at a pivotal time, as we launch new accounts and products, and with the speed with which we are growing there will be lots of scope for you to develop in the role and company!
WHAT YOU’LL DO?
BUILD & NURTURE KEY RELATIONSHIPS
- Hit the streets to activate accounts and maximise sales opportunities with each customer.
- Working with Head of Sales to build a strategy for achieving significant growth in stores stocking POLLEN + GRACE
- Implement your plan whilst keeping your colleagues and management up to date with progress.
- This role encourages creative thinking. You will be supported to bring your ideas to life through instore and proximity sampling, educating and spreading the love of our product to bring new users into the world of POLLEN + GRACE. It will be your responsibility to work to schedule, arrange and collaborate with marketing to ensure you have all the assets you need - ensuring we hit our monthly sampling targets and engaging with our customers.
WIN NEW ACCOUNTS
- You’ll be responsible for getting POLLEN + GRACE listed in as many independent stores and cafes as possible, with weekly sales targets and the support in place to help you achieve your goals.
- Responsible for generating and converting new business leads, ensuring they know all there is to know about P+G and transforming them into brand advocates.
- Work closely with wholesalers to activate new listings.
FEED INTO STRATEGY
- Analyse sales data and pull together key findings and insights within a PowerPoint presentation for the Founders and Head of Sales in order to communicate what’s working, what’s not and your suggestions on how to improve.
- Use your creativity and customer feedback to improve brand presence and rate of sale.
- Develop promotional strategies, deliver them and measure their performance.
- Develop your industry knowledge and conduct competitor analysis and research.
WHO YOU ARE?
You’ll be a key member of the sales team at P+G, helping us to grow our brand, visibility and presence across the UK. You will need to demonstrate:
- FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE
- Challenger brand approach: you have a growth mindset and view challenges as learning opportunities, not failures.
- Clever and commercial: we need people who can understand what makes our customers tick, what the challenges are and how P+G can help overcome them.
- Analytical & accountable: You’ll be a natural problem solver, comfortable with numbers and take responsibility for your actions.
- Courageous & resilient: You’ll be a self-starter with the tenacity to pitch and sell products to decision makers. We’re looking for someone relentless and energetic who doesn’t just survive but who thrives and learns in that environment.
- Organised & detail-orientated: We’re a small, agile team so you’ll be able to manage multiple projects at one time and have an ability to think on your feet whilst maintaining an eye for detail.
- Excited by food, people and targets: absolutely key, if you aren’t passionate about food and connecting with new people, then this is not the role for you.
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written: you will be proficient in PowerPoint, personable, outgoing, able to view other perspectives and most importantly, persuasive!

- The ability to build relationships and a solid rapport with people will be very important and internally you’ll represent your customers to ensure their needs are heard and met.
- You will feed into the wider team culture with an energetic approach which is key as we build out our business and continue to challenge a fast-growing category!
- You’ll be a major part of all the fun at HQ, but the majority of your time will be spent with your customers (and would-be customers) applying your sales skills! Therefore, you will be required to travel as needed.
