As Procurement Manager, you will lead on sourcing and purchasing products and services and will have responsibility for Teach First's procurement framework. You will use your technical expertise to secure value for money for the Charity in all its procurement exercises, considering factors such as sustainability, ethical supply chains and risk management. You will guide the work of others around the organisation through developing their understanding of, and approach to, procurement exercises.
We are looking for someone with excellent negotiation skills and an ability to secure value-for-money for the charity. You should have commercial and financial awareness, as well as an ability to manage budgets and keep costs down. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead are essential. Experience in managing projects and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally, is also required.

Through our flexible benefits platform access to subsidised dental membership, health screening, discounted gym membership, travel insurance, Give As You Earn and the option to buy annual leave.
We aim to update candidates if we’ll take their application forward within 10 working days of the closing date. We will not review any applications received after the closing date. All roles require that the successful applicant and Teach First make a joint application to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a background check.
