Everyone working at Forster Communications is committed to achieving a climate secure, sustainable and just world that respects both people and planet.
We believe social and environmental solutions come from a mix of behaviour change, system change and institutional change – and know that that communications is critical to making this happen.
We were founded by Jilly Forster in 1996 as a values-led business with the sole purpose of using the power of communications to protect and improve lives.
Since then we’ve inspired people to give up smoking and take more exercise, transformed attitudes to mental health, got thousands of people out on their bikes, helped turn small ethical businesses into mainstream successes, and developed movements that have changed society for the better.
Today, we are owned and run by our employees. Everyone has an active voice and clear incentive to do the best work they can for our clients. Whether it’s driving consumer choice or setting up innovative partnerships, we are all committed to creating measurable change.
In 2015 we became a founding UK B Corporation and since then we have won ten Best for the World awards. We continue to push the boundaries as a progressive business and in January 2020 became the first communications agency to publish a Climate Positive Plan.
Forster Communications is a values-led business with the purpose of using the power of communications to protect and improve lives. They're a certified B-Corp, and what stood out about them is their Climate Positive Plan to drive change in partnership with their employees, clients, suppliers and wider community. They were one of the highest scoring organisations in the 'people' category of the Escape 100 list. What's apparent from the employee feedback is that Forster Communications really care about their impact on employees as well as the wider world.
