Our first business, Selby Jennings, was founded in London in 2004. 

As a Banking & Finance Specialist within STEM; Selby Jennings set itself apart from the beginning by delivering hard-to-find-talent beyond the standard of recruitment in the market at the time. 

Following on from the early success of Selby Jennings, Phaidon International’s portfolio has grown to five micro-specialist recruitment brands; each individually serving an area of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Our original model remains central to our strategy today. 

We secured the first institutional investment into the business during 2016, which has assisted the development of the Group in its continued global expansion. 

In 2017 we opened our 9th global office and hired our 500th employee.

The organic growth built and maintained over more than a decade has led to an international portfolio of clients and the placement of more than 2000 candidates per year. Our solutions have attracted 60 independent awards including the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade and the Sunday Times Best Company to Work For.
