Since merging with Brighton Media Centre in March 2014 The Werks Group is rapidly developing as a major force for creative sector support in the South East. Soon after the merger in 2014 Martin Bouette joined Ian Elwick as the two directors of the Group with ambitions to expand the specialist facilities available to creatives and integrate it with better support for creative development.

Soon afterwards they headed a high profile support programme for creatives across Kent called Creative Success Kent, based on their wide joint experience of delivering support and education to the creative sector.

There are now plans in place to intensify the space and support available in Brighton and Hove as well as new venues in Kent and Surrey.
