Jessica Chaplin - South Africa
Co-Founder and Development Manager at Savanna Foundation
The Post-Graduate Diploma in Social Innovation offered me the opportunity to interact and learn from people with diverse backgrounds and cultural experiences. It gave me a strong introduction and understanding of the social sector and social entrepreneurship. The course affirmed my belief that it is possible to pursue a career in the social sector and have a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
Giulia Balestra - Switzerland

Amani Institute's Social Innovation Management program is the 'escape route' towards better understanding what you want to be doing with your life, and then making it work.
Lucila Sarquis - Argentina
Program Manager at Bridge for Billions
My experience at Amani really shaped the way in which I think and act about my purpose and professional life. It also opened up a powerful, international, purpose-driven community that has had a huge impact in each of my professional steps.
Confrey Alianji - Kenya
Innovation Strategist WWF Kenya/Ag.Global Panda Labs Coordinator
The SIM program isn't like any other. I was running two startups when I joined. However, I still wanted to work for a large organization and continue to exhibit my innovative self. SIM taught me how to respond to social issues and to deal with unanticipated business hurdles, which you rarely learn in school. I joined WWF to oversee their innovation program as a result of the network. Without Amani Institute, none of this would have been possible.
Tamer El Mahrouky - Egypt
Founder and Managing Director at Tink
My desire to join the Social Innovation Management program was born due to the horrible traffic in Egypt. Traffic congestion needed to improve and I knew I had a role to play in it. After years of working on this initiative I joined Amani Institute with the intention of scaling the impact. Going through the Amani framework in the SIM program the idea of Tink was born! The program is a life changing experience and has an impact on your professional and social life - starting from the unconventional learning method to the amazing group of students in the cohort. I can say now I have family in 8 countries!
Viviana Brun - Italy
Learning Experience Designer at Butterfly Works
The experience in Kenya has given a great added value to the SIM Program both from a human and professional point of view. It allowed me to get in touch with many interesting social enterprises, to collaborate with young activists in Nairobi and to enjoy the beauty of a wonderful country.
