Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to manage a small team and build a purpose led brand in a growing and untapped market?

Eczema Clothing has just had a re-brand with a new management team. We are building a team of talented, driven and purposeful staff to take this company to the next level and we are looking for a committed and experienced senior marketing manager to join us.

We are passionate about helping adults and kids who suffer from eczema or other itchy skin conditions live comfortably by providing them with suitable clothing and useful advice. Our platform, Eczema Clothing (www.eczemaclothing.com), aggregates and curates the best clothing brands available for adults and kids with eczema or sensitive skin. Our in-house garment brand is Cotton Comfort, producing high quality organic cotton eczema nightwear.

The role will report directly to MD and will be responsible for building and implementing all aspects of our marketing strategy in order to achieve our ambitious goals.

This is a full-service brand management and marketing execution role, designing and implementing an ongoing marketing plan to support stretch sales targets. The role is supported by two internal team members and several external consultants, who require coordination and management.

You will be proactive and able to work independently as well as coordinate and manage input from team members and external staff. Team building, coordination, communication and planning skills are essential in addition to basic copywriting and online media experience. You will be prepared to ‘muck in’ - in time we expect to expand the team further but in this early growth phase it is ‘all hands on deck’.

Key Responsibilities

With input from the senior management team, you will be responsible for Eczema Clothing’s marketing strategy, plan and implementation and be its brand manager. This includes:

  • PR - Plan and execute paid for PR and PR opportunities, managing platforms such as Linkby
  • Creative assets & copy – identify requirements, support commissioning, review and recommend key assets such as photography, video, animations, paid ads / copy across the business for sign off by the MD. Ensure execution of Eczema Clothing messaging - assets, narrative etc. - is consistent across all channels
  • New products/brands – ensure launches are optimised and coordinated across all marketing channels
  • Marketing Calendar – create, maintain and implement a detailed monthly Marketing Calendar, co-ordinating internal/external support for all above activities
  • Targets - work with MD to agree targets for key marketing performance metrics and ensure marketing plan supports these e.g.website sessions, conversion rate, number of new customers, purchase gap days, % of customers retained.
  • Budget - manage and report marketing budget (forecast vs actuals) across channels, drafting and pitching budget proposals for key activations
  • Reporting - provide monthly/quarterly reporting across key marketing performance metrics
