A transformation of the global economy is needed to address the climate and nature emergencies and create a sustainable future. A4S work across finance communities to drive this transformation, and communications and engagement activities play a key role in meeting this ambition. As Marketing and Communications Officer you will support us in delivering our communications strategy, ensuring alignment and collaboration across our networks and key stakeholders. Key areas of focus will include supporting the development of content for communications activities and projects, leading on A4S’s digital platforms, and providing communications and marketing support around events, campaigns and launches.
You will have the ability to manage a complex set of activities to enable efficient, effective and timely delivery of high quality outputs. The post will involve being part of a small core team and liaising with a wide range of individuals from network members and beyond in connection with this high profile organization.
About you
You will have a strong record and experience working in communications and marketing, including digital communications. You will have excellent communications skills, a high level of attention to detail and the ability to analyse information effectively. You will use your own initiative to progress work and manage competing demands. You will be able to think creatively within the A4S brand and style guidelines to produce appealing outputs.You will be proficient in using Microsoft Office programmes, social media, website content management systems (CMS), Google Analytics and email marketing platforms. Experience and/or interest in sustainable business would be an advantage.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Working with the Communications Manager to evolve and implement A4S’s digital strategy and develop A4S’s online following by its key audiences.
- Leading on digital analytics, reporting on performance and recommending improvements.
- Supporting the development of content and collateral to maximize communication efforts for events, projects and day-to-day stakeholder engagement.
- Maintaining templates, ensuring all collateral and materials adhere to the A4S brand guidelines.
- Working with the A4S team to ensure that a marketing and communications plan is in place to support the effective launch and ongoing promotion of key campaigns, events, programmes, guides and report launches.
- Managing the preparation and timely dissemination of newsletters and other communications to A4S networks and the wider target audience.
- Taking part in internal and external meetings to represent the A4S communications team.
