The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Content Creator to create, write and publish various types of pieces for our accelerator programmes such as articles, newsletters and social media posts.

You will be joining a dynamic and growing team and will help us reach our target audience by delivering engaging and on-brand information about our programmes and products.

Day to Day

The responsibilities include producing visual assets based on brief, creating marketing copy for our accelerator programmes, writing blog posts about industry-related topics, and promoting our content on social media. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads for new business.

Responsibilities

  • Research industry-related topics
  • Design and create visuals, videos and infographics according to brand guidelines
  • Create and distribute marketing copy to advertise our company and products
  • Ensure that marketing calendar and campaign launch dates are adhered to
  • Edit and proofread written pieces before publication
  • Prepare well-structured drafts using digital publishing platforms
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
  • Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (sharing, commenting etc)
  • Update our websites as needed
  • Support marketing team in ad hoc tasks and projects as needed

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Content Creator or similar role
  • Portfolio of published work
  • Video editing skills for social media
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., Hootsuite)
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Time-management skills
  • Familiarity with SEO
  • BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field

The nitty gritty

You will be working 20 hours per week. This can be staggered over 3-5 days each week (Monday – Friday) and our standard day runs from 9am to 5pm. However, we know that sometimes scenarios crop up in both the business and in life which mean working flexibly, and we are open to and understanding of this.

Day-to-day you will be working most closely with our Marketing Manager with whom you will be planning and delivering campaign activity with.

The terms

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Location: Home Based with occasional travel

Hours: 20 hours per week

Contract: Part time. Permanent.

Working pattern: 20 hours per week, spread over 3-5 days. Salary: £27,000 p.a. FTE, £13,500 p.a. for 20 hours per week.

Holiday entitlement: FTE 28 days per year plus bank holidays (14 days plus bank holidays for 20 hours per week).
