We’re looking for a teammate (of any gender identity) to join us in a new role as Head of Sales.
Location: Code First Girls offer family friendly, flexible working arrangements. This role is hybrid; working each week between our office in Liverpool Street, London, at sales events and remotely.

About the role
The Head of Sales is responsible for building and leading a strong sales team, driving KPIs and embedding a best-in-class high performance culture. The role will report into the CEO and will be responsible for driving revenue growth and identifying new opportunities within the UK and global markets.
The Head of Sales will initially focus on attracting and recruiting a strong in-office Sales team, as well as leading the existing team members. This position is a hands-on management role that requires strong leadership skills, critical thinking and a determined approach to achieving revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Instil a culture of productivity and high performance by developing and motivating a team of sales professionals
- Utilise systems and tools to monitor KPIs, track pipeline funnel and provide reports to senior leadership
- Attract, onboard and develop sales talent and embed a strong sales culture
- Set department objectives that align with the sales targets and overall business strategy
- Equip the team to grow a strong sales funnel
- Manage key relationships & attend sales events with your sales team to increase revenue growth
- Interact regularly with marketing to coordinate sales and marketing initiatives
- Pro-actively find opportunities to improve sales practices and processes
- Establish a sales enablement strategy and continuous training and feedback loops
What do you need to be considered?
- 3-5 years of management experience with a proven track record of successfully leading sales teams to achieve targets
- Experience of demonstrating expert strategic selling and ability to pass this to your team
- Experience in recruiting and building a high performing sales team
- Demonstrable experience in leading a fast paced, activity driven and target oriented sales team
- Practical experience in implementing KPIs to manage sales activity and performance
- Demonstrated ability to implement and effectively manage the sales pipeline and develop forecasts
- Proficiency in CRM’s (we use Hubspot)
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Process driven with the ability to utilise data to analyse trends, make decisions and improve practices
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
