⭐️ About the role
We seek a dynamic and experienced professional to join our company as the Vice President (VP) of Global Sales. As the VP of GS you will be reporting directly to the COO and will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team and driving revenue growth for Lodgify. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing sales strategies, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships on a global scale.
🎯 Your main responsibilities will be to:
Sales Strategy and Leadership
-Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, penetrate new markets, and drive business growth.
-Lead, mentor, and motivate the global sales team to consistently exceed sales goals and performance expectations.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to drive synergies and maximize sales effectiveness.
Business Development and Market Expansion:
-Identify new opportunities for growth and market expansion within the vacation rental industry, focusing on SMB (Small and Medium-sized Businesses) customers.
-Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and stay updated on competitor activities to identify competitive advantages and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Sales Performance and Revenue Generation:
-Own Lodgify’s ambitious revenue targets.
-Define sales targets, quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, regularly monitoring and evaluating their performance against these metrics.
-Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasting accuracy, and revenue projections, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
-Collaborate with the COO and finance to develop pricing strategies and optimize sales processes.
-Manage a 24/5 global sales operations model, ensuring coverage across different time zones and providing excellent support to prospects worldwide.
Sales Enablement and Team Development:
-Implement sales enablement programs, including training, tools, and resources, to empower the sales team and enhance their productivity and effectiveness.
-Constantly improve the inbound sales funnel and processes.
-Foster a high-performance sales culture by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and promoting professional development opportunities.
-Stay updated on industry best practices, sales methodologies, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement within the sales organization.
⭐ The requirements for the role are:Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven track record of success in global sales leadership roles within SaaS companies, specifically targeting SMB customers. Strong understanding of sales methodologies, market dynamics, and customer buying behaviors. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that deliver consistent revenue growth. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse sales team. Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed business decisions. Experience in the vacation rental industry or related sectors (e.g., hospitality, travel, real estate) preferred. Hubspot (or CRM) knowledge is preferred. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
