The Role – EMEA Sales Manager, Enterprise

The EMEA Sales Manager is a leadership role responsible for our London based sales team. The successful candidate will create and execute an Enterprise sales strategy to focus on winning the largest and best known global brands, enabling us to deliver on our mission to improve the mental wellbeing of ten million people in organisations around the world.

We’re looking for a special individual to inspire the existing and future team members, as well as our prospects and clients, with the core elements of the role being the following:

  • Lead: You’ll set the standard when it comes to striking the perfect blend of high performance work ethic to wellbeing. You’ll lead by example, embodying the Unmind values, even when no one is watching.
  • Coach: You will invest a significant amount of time coaching the Account Executives on deals, and being on the frontline with them. You know what great looks like and model this with ease, have a talent for pattern recognition and know how to navigate enterprise sales cycles. You strike the right balance of providing the answers and empowering the team to come to the right conclusion themselves, while being ready to drive the deal home if required.
  • Operational Excellence: You can coach reps on how to multithread in deals, how to get to the decision maker, and how to constantly evaluate their position in deals using MEDDPICC. You’re able to build and scale a repeatable model that de-risks revenue results. Demonstrable experience in leading an outbound team of Enterprise sellers is essential.
  • Plan: You own and execute on the sales plan for your region. Build in partnership with all go to market teams effective strategies to acquire, retain and grow Enterprise accounts; leveraging strategic account and territory planning by understanding their needs, market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Develop: You’re excited to work with the VP of International Sales and the Enablement Business Partner to establish a formal training and enablement program that inspires, motivates and develops the team, allowing the function to scale.
  • Nurture: We’ve built a unique sales culture that we’re really proud of and you’ll be responsible for nurturing this, as well as carefully contributing to its evolution.
  • Hire: We have set an incredibly high bar for talent, welcoming people into the team from a diverse set of backgrounds. You’ll have a passion for attracting and retaining top talent and be responsible for hiring many more team members in the quarters and years to come.
  • Collaborate: You’ll create close working relationships with people and teams across the business, with a particular focus on Sales Development, Marketing, Client Success and Commercial Operations.
  • Optimise: In partnership with Commercial Operations, you will be responsible for driving efficiencies across every element of the sales process, as well as ensuring the team is leveraging all the tools and systems at their disposal.
  • Deliver: Ultimately, you’ll have ownership of delivering the ambitious growth targets that we have in place, which will get us one step closer to achieving our mission of improving the mental wellbeing of ten million people in organisations around the world.

Requirements

We firmly believe that no one is the finished article and that there should be learning in every role you do. However, some experience in the following is important for this position:


Essential:

Operational Excellence:

  • Strong experience in MEDDPICC, forecasting, territory design, key account planning, CRM best practice, growth models and four quarter pipeline maintenance.
  • Extensive experience in the B2B SaaS industry with a track record of attainment.
  • Enterprise (£200k+ deal size) sales leadership experience with a strong track record of outbound sales and complex deal structures that require multithreading and selling to the C Suite.

Alignment

  • Close and productive previous working relationships with Marketing and Commercial Operations teams with clear examples of force multiplication you’ve achieved.
  • Strong at giving and receiving feedback. Articulate and direct communicator, both verbal and written– with the confidence to challenge the status quo.

Talent: Recruitment, development and retention

  • Ability to motivate team members, leveraging a coaching mindset.
  • Track record of success when it comes to both hiring new team members and inheriting existing team members.
  • Experience as a regional leader and second line manager
