What will you be doing?

We need to develop and deliver a fundraising plan. It could include any or many of these activities:

Work with the NDT team to develop a fundraising strategy and plan Develop and promote fundraising activities and projects to support our fundraising strategy Working with the NDT team on planning and delivering events and activities Attract, build and develop relationships with new and existing corporate donors to secure long term and increased funding across a wide range of target markets Research the forums and groups that could benefit the organisation Represent the charity by attending, participating in & speaking at external events and activities Create fundraising material and literature Work alongside other volunteers to identify fundraising opportunities

What are we looking for?

We want someone friendly and enthusiastic with experience of planning and supporting fundraising activities. We have ideas, and have had much success in income generation but we need a structured plan for the next few years and someone to lead on it for us.  You've done this before, have lots of ideas, can help us be organised and can do the doing for us. You'll be an event planner, a major donor magnet and will love trying new ideas. You've got an understanding of new types of fundraising and can help us grow. You'll be independent, happy to keep in touch with progress, and be proactive working from home.

What difference will you make?

NDT makes a difference every day to the kids and volunteers on our programmes. We keep girls in schools by educating them on their bodies and motivating them by playing netball; we empower volunteers to learn new skills and we let kids have fun in otherwise challenging lives. You can be a part of this by letting us sustain and expand the programme across Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Ghana. The two trustees who run the charity day to day need to focus on delivery and you'll take a huge pressure off them, and move this charity forward to an exciting future.
