What will you be doing?

Are you interested in supporting a refugee founder in developing their business? Become a Business Buddy with the UP Collective, a programme run in partnership between Ben & Jerry's and social enterprise TERN. Use your mentor skills to make a tangible impact on someone's business. The programme offers entrepreneurs who are just starting out the chance to develop and test a business idea. As a Business Buddy you will: ·Attend a weekly (online & in person) workshop with your mentee ·Offer your experience, guidance and advice as they develop and test their business idea If you're interested in social innovation and have some business experience, this role could be a great fit for you! The programme will take place between May and August this year, with both online & in person elements in Central London.

What difference will you make?

You will be supporting entrepreneurs from a refugee background, to enable them to test and explore their business idea. TERN's programmes aim to enable refugees to thrive through the power of their own ideas, and your guidance and advice will be invaluable to the entrepreneur you work with.** The role is partially online and partially in person, with events & up to 4 workshops held in Central London. This means you need to be based in London or be able to easily and regularly travel to London to be eligible for the role.
