The role - We are seeking an expert consultant to provide technical expertise for the project on ‘Strengthening supplier capacity to collect and use gender disaggregated supply chain data’, which is being implemented in India (Tamil Nadu). The consultant will support with delivery of the project by providing gender-related technical and advisory services. This includes working closely with the Programme Manager, international team and local service providers, reviewing needs assessment surveys, capacity building programme for suppliers and other programme related documents. The consultant will also support the delivery of multi-stakeholder events and forums to disseminate key results and knowledge products related to the project.
Job requirements - The consultant must have strong technical knowledge of gender issues in garment supply chains and experience working in programmes. Strong technical expertise on gender and global supply chains, including providing technical advisory support to programmes and other stakeholders is required. Experience working across teams in a collaborative manner and high level analytical, strategic-thinking and problem-solving skills are also necessary.
Benefits - The consultant will be remunerated on a monthly basis against invoice submitted and timesheet.
