Mr & Mrs Smith is seeking a Head of Social Media to lead our social strategies across all channels. This role will be responsible for creating, executing, and managing paid and organic social campaigns that drive engagement, brand awareness, campaign launches, new product and sales.

The Head of Social Media role is a key member of the global marketing leadership team and works closely with the Creative, PR, Digital, CRM and Hotels team to deliver the global ambition for Mr & Mrs Smith. Responsible for the creation and development of the Social strategy globally, the successful candidate will work with a London-based marketing team to secure and manage the growth of key audiences whilst delivering outstanding campaigns on a global level.

Role responsibilities include, but not limited to: Lead, develop and execute social strategies that align with the business goals and objectives. Define the annual Social strategy, aligning goals with the Paid Digital team. Act as bridge between organic and paid to build a seamless and cohesive plan that translates brand content into paid. Collaborate with Digital and Hotel teams to develop new tactical marketing initiatives to support performance. Drive greater ROI and traffic from existing tactical digital activities.

Ensure Organic Social media planning is cohesive and aligns to brand goals across all platforms including Instagram, TikTok and Meta. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including marketing, PR, creative and hotel teams) to ensure campaigns are integrated across channels and touchpoints. Lead the ideation of creative concepts and execution for the always-on social campaign activations, both organic and paid.

Develop earned-first, social-centric ideas in partnership with the Comms & Creative teams to drive brand affinity/engagement that amplify key marketing and cultural moments. In-depth knowledge of TikTok and Meta capabilities (with main focus on Instagram), keeping your creative ideas on-trend and up to date with the platforms fast-paced innovations.

Work and direct content team on social asset production needs, collaborating on content creator commissions and correlating deadlines. Alongside agency support, utilise your knowledge of TikTok and shooting in-platform to create platform-first, socially relevant content. Undertake simple retouching and editing of your assets. Together with the Digital and Comms team, work on a long-term growth strategy centred around compelling content that delivers on engagement and reach.

Through data and competitive intelligence, gain a clear and deep understanding of our core customer to ensure our content and social messaging connects. Work collaboratively with the Digital team to ensure a data driven approach; including testing strategies to optimise approaches per channel. Monitor and analyse content performance in partnership with Digital lead in order to apply key learnings to both improve performance in real time and optimise future strategies.
