Role Summary:Develop high-quality proposals to expand WaterAid's restricted funding pipeline.Collaborate with teams across the organization and with external partners to create winning bids.Engage with a variety of donors, including institutional and similar non-institutional funders.
Role Requirements:Proven experience in developing successful proposals for various funders, preferably in the context of development projects in low-income countries.Strong grasp of proposal management practices.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.Proficient in analyzing financial data and forming proposal budgets.Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

The Role: As the Bid Manager in the Bid Management Team, you will support the development of winning proposals to deliver strong growth in our restricted funding pipeline. In this role, you will work with key stakeholders, including staff in Country Programmes, Finance Teams, Regional Funding Managers and external partners to develop high-quality bids for opportunities with institutional and non-institutional donors that act like institutions.
Job requirements: Experience developing winning proposals to a range of institutional and non-institutional funders, ideally for development projects in low-income countries. Good understanding of proposal management best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to negotiate and influence. Experience analysing financial data and developing proposal budgets. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
