Volunteer Marketing and communications lead - open to applicants from across the UK

What will you be doing?

We have a podcast that needs to reach further because it has some amazing stories that need to reach more people. You don't have to be experienced in podcasting - just know how to build new audiences.  We are developing a website with blogs and insight to share that we'd love you to be a part of.  We have a growing social media presence and need someone to take that to the next level.  You would work closely with our Development and engagement lead and our Advocacy and campaigns lead.  The key to this role is building on our communications strategy to help build and develop new audiences and opportunities. Plus grow our engagement.  We love creativity too - so please bring us new ideas and a fresh outlook!

What are we looking for?

Experience in a leadership role in the charity sector  Experience of strategic marketing and communications Experience in content creation and social media management Ability to use and update a CMS system (i.e. Wordpress/Squarespace) Experience working on Podcasts (ideally but not essential) Diplomatic attitude, inclusion-led and values-driven, with the ability and passion for leading by example

We are a group of LGBTQIA+ volunteers trying to make safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ people so for this role we ask that you are part of the LGBTQIA+ community.  We are explicitly trans and intersex inclusive. What difference will you make?

Stories create change. But they can only do that if people hear, see, or devour them. Your role will help us reach more people out there who can use these stories to make a more inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ people wherever they are.
