Junior Designer Intern (6 months)

Overview

We’re a Brighton-based start-up working with big brands to design digital learning experiences. That could mean explaining something clearly, simulating a real world experience or giving subtle nudges in the right direction informed by behavioural insights. As a junior digital designer, you’ll be working in a fast-paced start-up disrupting a competitive industry.

What you will do

Everyone at Lima Delta has an impact, no matter how recently they joined our team or what experience they bring. This applies to our paid internships too. As a Junior Designer, you will start with:

• Day to day, you’ll be creating digital assets based on an art direction and brand guidelines.
• You’ll work with the rest of the team to ensure that what you create works within the constraints of a no-code tool and communicates the right message to end users.
• You’ll spend most of your time working with Figma, illustrator, photoshop.
• If you love video editing and animation, there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved with that too.

🤩 We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Are currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or qualification in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, or a related field.
• Are a passionate designer with a keen eye for detail and a love for all things creative.
• Have proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch.
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Are based in or near Brighton and happy to commute.
• Finally, you’re eager to learn, grow, and contribute innovative ideas to a dynamic and evolving company.

Our salary for this role is £22,500.

We have an office in a co-working space in the heart of Brighton. We would love to see you there throughout the whole internship.

🌴 Base Holiday

20 days plus normal UK bank and public holidays (8 days) plus your birthday (or a day in one of the weeks either side of your birthday if it falls on a weekend).
