The Opportunity

Are you ready to make a tangible impact in a fast-growing scale-up? We’re looking for a passionate FP&A Analyst to play a key role in shaping our financial strategy and driving our success. In this pivotal position, you’ll be at the heart of our financial planning processes—including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis that directly influence the direction of our company.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the company’s financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. You will work closely with various departments to provide data-driven insights that inform business decisions and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting:

    • Prepare, analyse, and distribute regular financial reports, including variance analysis and trend identification.

    • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making, strategic planning, and business initiatives.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting:

    • Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

    • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting key areas of opportunity or concern.

    • Assist in creating long-range financial plans, including scenario analysis and risk assessments.

  • Strategic Analysis & Support:

    • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support various business needs.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and recommendations on strategic projects.

    • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights into business performance.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Continuously seek opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

    • Support the implementation and enhancement of FP&A tools to improve data management and reporting capabilities.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support on business initiatives.

    • Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management in a clear and compelling manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a similar role, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Functional knowledge of accounting gained through experience in due diligence, audit, or other financial analysis.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Python, SQL, and/or financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights) is a plus.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely financial information.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, both independently and collaboratively.

  • A proactive approach with a willingness to take on challenges and solve business problems.

  • Team player who is comfortable working in a high-growth, constantly evolving environment.
