- Role Summary:
- Supervise and support Field Managers and Officers.
- Coordinate effective field activities across different locations.

- Role Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with smallholder farmers in Uganda.
- At least 1 year in Field Team management.
- Willingness to travel extensively by road.
- Diploma in Agriculture or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Fluency in English and Luganda.

About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund supplies 1 million smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms vastly more productive. Our 8,000+ team is drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions. With operations across six core countries in Africa, we make farmers more prosperous by providing quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes, and agricultural training to improve harvests. On average, the farmers we serve harvest 50 percent more food after working with One Acre Fund.
The Role The Field Leader will be responsible for supervising Field Managers and their Field Officers, ensuring field activities are carried out effectively across all Pods/Sectors and Parishes under your supervision. You will be responsible for farmer enrollment, field staff and farmer training, field visits, planning and strategy setting, and local leader engagement.
Job Requirements At least 3 years of experience working with smallholder farmers in Uganda and at least 1 years of experience of any level of Field Team management. Ability to cover large distances by road daily and ability to lead Field team strategies. Diploma in Agriculture or Bachelor's degree in any related field. Fluent in English and Luganda.
