Role overview

This new role sits at the heart of Screen Share. It's fundamental to our scaling journey towards becoming a sustainable source of IT Hardware and digital solutions for refugees in the UK.

Over the next 12 months we will look to aquire as much IT Hardware as possible - laptops, phones, tablets, monitors, keyboards etc. We will refurbish and give most devices out for free to refugees and sell the tech they don't want or need.

The post is designed to maintain and deepen Screen Share’s corporate partnerships, as well as support the CEO in engaging new businesses to support refugees through partnering with Screen Share.

The postholder will seek the acquisition of IT hardware from a variety of sources and ensure our data management and WEEE practices are fully compliant.  They will finalise and communicate our value proposition.

We're searching for a creative, confident self-starter with excellent communication skills and a strong desire to ask for and facilitate large donations of technology and money. They will have a proven track record of attracting and maintaing support from the private sector. They will be committed to our mission and exercise a good understanding of digital inclusion, e-waste recycling and refugees and asylum seekers.

We choose to publish the full job description rather than a personal specification. The Communications element of this role is negotiable - we are a young and dynamic charity and there is a variety of ways we can approach this next move.
