What will you be doing?

CACT is a charity that predominantly serves diverse and disadvantaged communities in South East London and Kent.  CACT works in partnership with local authorities, health organisations, support agencies and other charities to deliver a variety of programmes that aim to empower local communities, change lives and address issues around health, crime, education and employment. CACT’s highly committed and experienced board of trustees represents a range of backgrounds, experiences, specialist knowledge and skills.  At this stage in our development, we are particularly looking for outstanding individuals who ideally have experience in one or more of the following:  IT/digital transformation, business development, youth and community voice, ESG and social value.  However, we welcome applications from others who feel they can add value to our ambitions and purpose.  CACT is committed to the safeguarding of its staff, volunteers and beneficiaries.  Any appointment made is subject to CACTs Safer Recruitment process which includes satisfactory references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Applicants will also be asked to complete a Declaration of Eligibility to become a Charitable Trustee form before the appointment is confirmed. For further information, including an application form and accompanying information, as well as, if desired, an opportunity to discuss these vacancies further, please contact us via Reach. Closing date for applications:  Monday 25 November 2024
