Role Summary:Ensure effective and compliant registration of childminders in accordance with statutory and agency requirements.Conduct theory calls, home preparation calls, and registration visits as needed.Travel nationwide, including overnight stays, and show flexibility during peak periods which may affect holiday schedules.

Role Requirements:Prior experience in the early years sector.Strong observational and assessment skills.Proficient in writing reports with a high level of English.Willing to undertake a valid enhanced DBS check.Preferably holding a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate.In-depth knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.Excellent prioritization, flexibility, multitasking, and pressure management abilities.Good interpersonal skills to connect with, enthuse, inform, and motivate childminders.

The role focuses on ensuring the effective and compliant registration of childminders in line with statutory and agency requirements. Key responsibilities include: Conducting theory calls, home preparation calls, and registration visits as required. Being flexible and willing to travel nationwide to meet registration visit needs, including overnight stays when necessary, and recognising that peak periods driven by growth may require limited holiday availability to support the agency's objectives.

Job requirements include having appropriate experience in the early years sector, demonstrating strong observational and assessment skills, being able to write reports concisely, to a high level of written English, and holding or being willing to undertake a valid enhanced DBS check. A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate is preferable. You must have relevant knowledge of safeguarding and child protections, the ability to set priorities, work flexibly, multi task and under pressure, and have good interpersonal skills and be able to connect, enthuse, inform and motivate childminders.
