A fantastic and unique opportunity has been developed to join Houst as our new Junior HR Business Partner. Reporting directly into the Head of People and Culture, you will be responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle for all members of staff globally. From Employee Relations to HR policy development and Employee Wellbeing, you will be touching every area of HR across the business. You will also be assisting with the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives. As we are a start up with a HR team of 4, there is significant scope with this role for a driven and creative individual to really make their mark, take ownership and help us rebuild the People and Culture Team post pandemic.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with line management and provide HR guidance
  • Support with resolving complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Support with the development of HR policies and procedures and offer guidance to employees
  • Maintain HR procedures that comply with country specific labor regulations across all of our geographies globally
  • Assist with the management of Training and Development and support a strategic review of our current training offering
  • Develop and review Performance Management processes
  • Project manage and suggest new HR strategic initiatives and projects
  • Support with Talent Management, with particular focus on our Graduate and Apprenticeship programmes
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and performance related official documentation
  • Organise and maintain employee records
  • Assist in employee retention and development
  • Support with the rollout of a new LMS system
  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
  • Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, annual leave and sickness)
  • Gather and analyse data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rate

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years Human Resources experience, Ideally at HR advisor or Junior HRBP level
  • International HR experience would be a plus
  • Undertaking or completion of a CIPD qualification
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Analytical and goal oriented
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
  • Track record of supporting and implementing performance management processes
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to foster healthy employee relations
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (including payroll systems, HRIS and ATS)
  • BSc degree in Human Resources Management or Organizational Psychology a plus
