NEDonBoard is a professional membership and development body for non-executive directors and board members. As the Institute of Board Members, we maintain the oversight of the knowledge, skills, conduct and practices of non-executive directors and board members.
Our mission is to accelerate sustainability and development. We do this by sharing wisdom and knowledge across generations of boardroom decision-makers. We influence and support board members responsible for the strategic direction of businesses by promoting modern, contemporary and best governance practices that balance people, planet and profit. Our mission aligns with Goal 16 of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
We serve professionals during their career at board level: aspiring and transitioning non-executive directors, recently appointed board members, experienced NEDs. We also work with boards of directors and organisations looking to appoint diverse and talented non-executive directors to their board. We provide ongoing professional development opportunities and create future-fit, modern, strong, impactful and effective board decision-makers.

We have a great mission at NEDonBoard. Through our activities, we actively promote the development of effective organisations, representative decision-making at all levels and modern governance practices that balance people, planet and profit.
Because non-executive directors and board members are decision-makers, with the right tools, guidance, connections and professional development (which NEDonBoard provide), they drive sustainability and prosperity for the long-term benefit of society and our planet.

We have a fully-flexible work environment and enjoy high autonomy level. Management focuses on results / outcomes as well as best efforts.
😎 Autonomy
There is a high degree of autonomy, which is very important to me. There is no micro-management and I am given room to develop and grow.

NEDonBoard is a mission-driven organisation, focused on developing its members and providing value to them.
Our membership community is of a high quality, because members are non-executive directors, or on track to secure a board appointment. Members are interesting professionals, typically in a mindset of giving back to society and with impressive exec and non-exec careers. Be surrounded by such individuals is fantastic.
